SMD Connector (1mm pitch)

1mm pitch connector is actually very miniature. The header is so small that they can only be surface mounted.

You can contact PIC-CONTROL for custom wire connector assembly service or crimping service.

Small Connectors

Crimping of the miniature 1mm plug (connector housing) is not possible with typical tools used for electronic work. A special ultra small size crimping tools or machine is required. Such crimping tool is very rare in Singapore. You can hardly get this tools in the local retail store.

Neodymium magnet also known as NEO magnet has a very strong magnet strength. The bigger it is, the more magnetic strength it has.

Handle with care especially if the magnet is big. The strength of the magnet is enough to get you hurt badly. Always wrap around the magnet with thick packaging. The magnet is actually quite brittle and can chip off easily. Once the magnet is in contact with another magnet, the likely way to separate them is to slide them away from each other. The bigger the magnet, the more difficult it is to slide them apart.

Pulse control LED light (strobe light) for machine vision inspection use.

Strobe light (like a camera flash) allows the camera to capture a sharper image for image processing. This controller can be connected directly to your inspection camera or a computer system for LED pulse light trigger.

LED Channel Output

This pulse controller has 8 channel LED output. Each output can be configured in various mode of strobe lighting inspection operation.

You can control the precise current supplied to the LED for brightness control. You can also control the following timing parameters (in microseconds),

  • Time delayed pulsed light
  • Duration of the pulsed light

Suitable for LED voltage 12V to 24V up to pulse current 4A (max).
Input trigger to control the precise timing for a pulse LED light output.

Light Trigger Input

Trigger input to pulse the corresponding LED channel at the precise timing. You can connect camera output control signal to synchronise the camera image capture to the LED light output.

The LED channels can also be synchronised to pulse through a single trigger input.

You can configure the LED controller operation through the network using Ascii coded commands (UDP protocol).

Use the power supply rated for your LED lighting. If the LED is 12V, the power supply input will be 12V. For 24V LED, the power supply will be 24V.

Control LED current for light intensity, and control precise lighting timing to aid camera to take a crisp and sharp image for automated image processing. Suitable for visual inspection in the factory production line.

The controller can be connected to a camera to synchronise the strobe light triggering at a precise timing. LED light can be triggered by the camera to activate the light pulse.
